Growing up in Colorado and Montana, Chapin fell in love with nature and came to appreciate it at an early age. Chapin's depiction of water in all its forms have been included in more than 40 Museum and Gallery exhibits including the Louvre, Grand Palais in Paris; RJ Schaffer Museum; Colorado Historical Museum; National Arts Club; the Audubon and American Embassies world wide. Corporate collectors include John Nuveen Company, Federal Reserve Bank, Jewett Inc., Pardoe Properties and Shultz Inc. among others. Her work was selected for inclusion in the Ketterer Marine Exhibition/Auction in Hamburg. The exhibition represented 17th - 20th century paintings in the marine genre. Published in the Who's Who in American Art. Biographies have been included in the Allgemeines Kunstlerlexikon* (56 Vol. Dictionary of Artists), Museum reference worldwide among others. continued....
