Each day Micaiah Hardison will lead the group from our cozy base in Arcos to paint in inspiring locations within a short distance, such as the Sierra Nevadas, beaches of the Costa de la Luz, Cadiz, national parks, marinas, lakes, and other white villages and cortijos. About: At the tip of the St. George Peninsula is the picturesque fishing village of Port Clyde. Port Clyde remains primarily a working harbor, filled with the rugged boats of local lobstermen and fishermen and countless subject matter awaits the painter at every turn. It is here in this tiny village that we will make our lodgings for the week. We will also venture just down the street to the Tenants Harbor area of St. George for one day of painting as well as a day of painting on Monhegan Island, accessible by ferry from Port Clyde. On Wednesday of the workshop week we will spend a late afternoon at the Farnsworth Museum in Rockland, Maine, followed by a group dinner at a nearby restaurant.
