Jeanne MacKenzie will be teaching as well. "The Fraser Valley for an incredible week of fine art, featuring the Rocky Mountain Plein Air Painters National Show and Paint Out. You’ll see paintings created right before your eyes in the natural outdoor setting of Grand County, Colorado. Sixty-seven renowned artists from across the country will create more than 200 paintings over the week, culminating in a nationally judged show and auction."

Two of Jeanne's pieces were chosen for the Society of Master Impressionist Invitational. The Sunset Art Gallery of Amarillo is the proud host of The Society of Master Impressionists Annual National Juried Exhibition. The exhibition will run June 2nd to July 2nd, 2007. The opening weekend will kick off with the exhibition's opening reception on Saturday, June 2nd from 6 - 10 p.m. at The Sunset Art Center.

Timothy David Mayhew
Who’s Who in American Art

Timothy David Mayhew has been nominated for inclusion in the 28th edition of Marquis Who’s Who in American Art. The primary selection criteria for Marquis Who's Who publications are noteworthy achievement in creative works, positions of leadership held at significant organizations, educational attainments, and significant publishing or public speaking experience.
Mayhew is an award-winning artist who resides in the northwest corner of New Mexico. Mayhew studied wildlife painting from Bob Kuhn, and en plein air landscape painting from Clyde Aspevig and Matt Smith. Mayhew is a signature member of the National Academy of Professional Plein Air Painters [NAPPAP].
Mayhew’s exhibitions include the Boston Museum of Fine Art, the National Museum of Wildlife Art, the Thomas Gilcrease Museum, the Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum, and the Art of the Animal Kingdom.
Mayhew's artwork has been acquired by major museums including the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, the Fogg Art Museum, the University Of New Mexico Museum Of Fine Art, the Tamarind Institute and many others.
Mayhew received his Doctorate from Wayne State University in 1978 and he is a noted expert in 13th to 17th century old master drawing materials and techniques. Mayhew is frequently invited to give presentations to the curators, conservators and scientists at major museums housing such works.
