Another Italian venue producing a glorious landscape. We will be in a small town of Santa Lusurgiu. The workshop includes an intensive program of painting in many historic and picturesque venues in Sardinia; 7 nights in a three star hotel, all rooms with private baths;personal art instruction, demos, and daily critiques, all meals at area restaurants,a mid-week break to historic sites and other optional sightseeing available; private coach trnasportation to and from the airport.

Plein air and Studio. Visit the high desert and paint in the clean air, only 25 miles from Reno. The 6200 foot elevation ensures moderate temperatures, dramatic sunsets and sunrises, with stars every night. The mountains and canyons are dotted with juniper and pinion trees, as well as scenic old buildings and remnants of equipment from the historic mining days of the Comstock Lode and the Big Bonanza. The art center has a well-lit painting studio as well as printmaking and photography studios

Karen and Chris Weihs will take a group of artists and cooks to Burgundy, France
Day 1- Arrive at the Chateau...unwind with wine, lunch/art demonstration. dinner at the chateau.
Day 2 Visit vineyards in the area, including the 1000 year old Chateau of Gecrey-Chambertin; have lunch and artists paint in the vineyards while the others keep touring.
Day 3 Market Day Lesson on how to shop/what to buy/ purchase food for the next days cooking lesson, Artists set up and paint while others tour, continue to visit the area in the afternoon and visit to the Fine Art museum of Dijon.
Day 4 Cooking lesson at the chateau for all, with lunch as we cook and watch Chris, free afternoon and dinner out.
Day 5 same as above, artists have the option of painting around the chateau each day.
Day 6 Chris will set out for purchasing the evening meal foods with all who will cook while artists stay at the chateau and paint. Everyone participates in the afternoons' preparing/watching Chris get the last evenings feast prepared. The final feast!
